Privacy policy

1. Who is responsible

CodingLN is the controller of the data processed on this website. For any privacy matter, contact us at contato@codingln.com.

2. What data we collect

• Contact form: name, email, company, the challenge you select, and your message, if you write one.
• Technical submission data: approximate country (derived from your IP address), browser and operating system (user agent), and the date and time of submission. The IP address itself is not stored with your contact details.
• Security: your IP address is used for up to 60 seconds to limit repeated submissions and is passed to Cloudflare for bot verification (Turnstile).
• Language preference: if you choose a language, that choice is stored in your browser's local storage (localStorage) and is not sent to us.

3. What we use the data for

We use the data to reply to your inquiry and schedule the call, to protect the form against spam and abuse, and to remember the language you chose. We do not sell data, use it for advertising, or send newsletters.

4. Legal bases

• Replying to your inquiry: steps prior to entering into a contract at your request (GDPR art. 6(1)(b); LGPD art. 7, V) and our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries (GDPR art. 6(1)(f); LGPD art. 7, IX).
• Form security: legitimate interest in protecting the website against abuse (GDPR art. 6(1)(f); LGPD art. 7, IX).

5. Who we share data with

We use a few providers to run the website. They process data only to provide their service:

• Cloudflare, Inc.: website hosting, the database where your inquiry is stored (Cloudflare D1), and bot verification (Turnstile).
• Resend: sending internal email notifications, when configured, containing the details you submitted in the form.
• Zoho Mail: receiving internal notifications and exchanging emails to respond to your inquiry and arrange the call.
• Google (Google Fonts): the website's fonts are loaded from Google's servers, which receive your IP address when the page opens.
• WhatsApp (Meta): if you click "Chat on WhatsApp", the conversation takes place on WhatsApp and follows their privacy policy.

6. International transfers

These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area and Brazil, including in the United States, under each provider's data protection terms.

7. Cookies

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies for security and bot protection.

8. How long we keep data

We keep form data for up to 12 months after the last contact when there is no business relationship. If you become a client, the data is governed by the contract. You can request deletion earlier at any time.

9. Your rights

You can request access to, correction, deletion, or portability of your data, find out who it was shared with, and object to its processing. Just write to contato@codingln.com; we reply within 15 days.

If you are not satisfied, you can lodge a complaint with your country's data protection authority in the European Union, such as the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens in the Netherlands, or with Brazil's ANPD.

10. Security

The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), database access is restricted to the CodingLN team, and the form is protected against spam and automated submissions.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the website or its providers change. The date at the top shows the current version.
